Hall County Animal Shelter
F.A.S.T. Friends is currently raising donations to purchase Kuranda beds for all dog kennels in the Adoption rooms and Incoming rooms.
We will also continue our on-going mission by raising funds to sponsor urgent dogs and cats for rescue, as well as senior dogs. Your donations help save animals by allowing us to sponsor them for rescues. Often, large dogs, heartworm positive dogs and seniors are overlooked, but when sponsored, rescues will consider pulling them. We currently sponsor all heartworm treatments on heartworm positive dogs adopted or rescued from the shelter.
100% of all donations go towards sponsorship. (no administrative fees)
Scroll all the way to the bottom for our DONATION links and information. All donations are tax-deductible!!
SAVE A LIFE. FOSTER.
By Fostering you are giving a pet more time that they would not have at the shelter. You are not making a lifetime commitment but giving a pet a temporary home until they are adopted or go to a Rescue Organization. FAST Friends has fostered hundreds of pets and they have all (except for a few foster failures) gone to wonderful new homes.
SAVE A LIFE. ADOPT.
Shelters are full of wonderful adoptable pets in need of homes. While there are great Rescue Organizations helping they can't save them all. Adopters are needed. Please consider Adopting a Shelter Pet.

Sponsoring means you pay the adoption fee. This allows the pet to be pulled by a Rescue Organization. The adoption fee covers all vetting necessary for the pet to leave the shelter including Spaying or Neutering the pet. The adoption fee is $85 unless there is a current 'special'. If the pet has tested positive for Heartworms, the treatment fee may be covered by FAST Friends! Adoption fees include all vetting and treatment for heartworms.
SAVE A LIFE. TRANSPORT.
It takes a team of people doing their part to save a pet. Give a pet his/her's "Freedom Ride" by transporting out of the shelter to their new safe temporary location. Transporters play a vital role in saving a pet's life.
There are others ways you can help such as grooming, visiting the pets while at the shelter, taking pictures and accessing pets personalities.
